Communicate: It is vitalfor parents to talk with their child at the beginning ofthe school year. Ask them how was their day? If they say it was a good day ask why, if they say it was a bad day ask why. Communicating withyour child daily will help them communicate with you when the going gets tough, it will also help you as a parent to get to know your child better.
Evaluate: Evaluate what your child may be trying to say to you. Are they trying to answer the questions you havequickly because they don’t know what to say or even know how to express themselves.
Demonstrate: You need to always understand thatyour son or daughter learns how toreact to things by the way you demonstrate your reactions to things that happen every day.
